Book Fair!!!!

The book fair is starting tomorrow at Fritz.  Book fairs are a great way to get kids excited about reading.  Please come and join us don’t forget that you are welcome to bring your little ones who are not attending Fritz yet.  A book fair is for everyone!

A new book please!

Have you ever had the problem that your child only wants to read the same book over and over? We have been stuck on lots of books. It is important to remember that reading is reading, if you want to change it up try adding a pick of your own with your child’s book pick.

Chester is one of the books on the PA Young Reader’s Choice Award list this year.  So far I would say this has been the student’s favorite this year I have several copies and the book never seems to be in the library!

I am going to the dentist this week and thought I could read this to Logan!

Dav Pilkey is one of my favorite authors, and I love this little holiday story.

The Ugly Pumpkin

Ugly pumpkinMy pick of the night!! I love this story, his revelation at the end is very quotable.

The Witch’s Hat

The Witch's HatThis is the book I selected for tonight’s read.  I can not stop myself from selecting good fun holiday reads, so I am taking a break from going by shelves and choosing holiday books during the season.  I love this book it is great fun to read, I especially love the repeated line “It was a magic pot in case you forgot”.  I hope that Logan likes it as much as I do.   Happy Reading!!

Too Many Frogs

Tonight’s read aloud pick is Too Many Frogs by Sandy Asher.frogs2
